To add new unit or to update an existing unit go to Items ---> Units

 

 

 

Units can be added to the items at the time of creating new items.

 

Note: Changing the unit of an item is not advisable if some transactions have already been done for that item, since, it may give you incorrect data in some reports. If you really need to change the unit of an item, it is always advisable to create a new item with the unit you want to use.
